This is a logo design for Etsy (my favorite site aside from Amazon) that I'm doing for Advanced. Of course, I picked a hard site to design for, since they have handmade, vintage, supplies, and all types of art and design featured. One logo simply can't encompass all of that. We couldn't do something text based either, so I had to come up with an image that could stand alone, before I added the text. I think I may experiment with a few more sketches, but this key idea was my first. What do you think? (I have to pick one Wednesday and move forward for the next parts of the designs)
This is a collage for Illustration. It was supposed to be a family history exercise, but Helen doesn't really give us much in the way of instruction, so we can do whatever we want. I chose to focus on Nana (obviously) and I think I'm off to a good start. I'm going to change the background, and make the pictures larger, and color in my drawing...it's not due until October 18th though, so I've got some time (meaning I can put it on the back burner and continue freaking out about everything else that is due sooner).
That's all for now. I'll post my posters for Publication in a couple days when I actually have something worth showing.
