Shigeru Miyamoto [Event] Posters

So here are my designs for Publication...the posters that go with the Inventors Exhibit brochures (the final version went over pretty well with the class and Goldstein actually)...
So I wanted to try something strictly typographic, since I really enjoy typography and it's an area I want to build my strength in. The trick was linking them to the brochures and the event itself without all the great little pixel characters or the goofy pictures of Miyamoto.

I'm not sure why the second one is all stretched out. It's the same size as the first. I'm too tired to fix this. Anyway, I'm off to a good start, I think, and I'm happy with both my designs. I need to see them printed though, to see if the designs in the back of the first and the texture on the second show up the way I want them to.
