This is my Mama's site. She makes these awesome collage books and I guess this site is run by her and some friends. Check it out!
Now for what I worked on last semester in Computer Graphics. That class was a waste in the sense that I didn't learn anything new and if my advisor had been on the ball and told me not to take it (like he did at the END of the class) I could be in the right classes this fall instead of behind the game. But anyway...I do like the pieces that I did in that class. And one or two might be portfolio worthy (which reminds me I should really start picking out some pieces...I just wish I had more to work with).
I posted this a while back, but this is the whole image. We had to come up with a one woman (or man) movement combining other art movements. I created the New Utopian Constructivism (which was Art Neuveau, Distijl and Russian Constructivism) and that came out to NUC or sounded out Enusi also meaning 'and you see'....haha well anyway...it's really deep and complicated.
I'm satisfied with the end result.

Though I believe I like the uncolored version better. I've scanned it and eventually I want to trace her in Illustrator and maybe start featuring my four armed lady in some more pieces.

This is a magazine spread I did on one of my favorite writers, Tanith Lee. I didn't come up with the copy myself, that was taken from a couple websites. The but layout is my design. We had to include a word list, so that's what that bar of words on the right side of the second page is. I really really like this.

This is the second design I came up with. I don't like it as much. I'm really unhappy with the second page. My idea started on the first page, with the bubbles and the type that partially blends into the background (that's my word list). I worked hard on that...and then sort of petered out. I wasn't sure how to integrate that to the second side.

This is an illustration for a company I made up. It's like a more detailed version of the logo (but I still kept it pretty simple). Persephone Floral Design was the company I came up with...and it would be fun if I had more time to like...really sharpen it up and create a business package for this imaginary business...but we know how well I manage my time X__X

This is the logo and then a simplified version on the right. I actually like these a lot more than the illustration. Trying to keep my illustration so simple on a large scale really kinda stumped me. But I'm happy with these. Another possible portfolio piece...

Lastly we designed posters for this event our school has called Visions, where they showcase student art (just seniors I think) but of course Krasner wasn't on the ball on this either, so we were actually creating these AFTER the deadlines. So none of us entered to win the poster contest...but I like mine anyway. The class voted mine in the top three (number three haha)

Until I dig up some more good old stuff (or maaaaybe create something new), au revoir, mon amis!
I like the Persephone Floral Company design, I'm with you on the simpler ones ^_^
