Anyway...here are my new pieces! (I wish my scanner was of a little better quality. Some of the colors look washed out. Alas)
This one is awesome! It's so thin, and it feels more like fabric than paper. All the white that you see is actually holes...it's sort of like a doilie or something. I definitely have no clue what I'm going to do with this, but when I use it, it has to be epic.
This is another great texture, much like the green paper Mama gave me, that I used for the bird on my second home-made sketchbook. It's got the big fibers in it, and the color is a lot more rich than my scanner is letting on.
Cranes. Yay! The green tree parts look like this amazing blue when you hold them up to the light.
A simple gold texture.
Beautiful purple little blossoms. They're so cute!
Yes, the wave paper again. They have it in several colors, and the grey was my second favorite. Now that I have the two, I really want to frame them side by side. Yes, someday I will frame them damnit. Since I don't actually have a picture of Hokusai's wave, it won't be overkill (I just have a notebook with the print instead ^__^).
And finally, some elegant blue swirls. As you can see, I really like the color blue.
*sigh* I wish I could spend my day with paper....touching it, looking at it, doing crafty things with it. Maybe someday I will. I'd love to just...have a massive paper collection. If you count all my notebooks, journals, and stationery, I guess I do have on going, but now I'm adding pieces of decorated paper to my collection!
YAY PAPER!
