Just a couple scans of what I'm working on for Illustration. Our first project was to be done in just pencil and we were supposed to do three sketches from an object in nature. Now, I couldn't remember if all three had to be the same object, so I covered my ass by doing a few different things...and we could do whatever style we wanted...so I slowly morphed my butterfly into a cartoon. I really like it. I'm glad I'm taking this class because I want to draw more.
Our second project is to be done with ink. We had to draw the same thing four times (my sad little owl cartoon...that I hope to do more of) and then we have to practice shading them in different ways. Obviously, I haven't started the shading yet, because I wanted to scan this first in case I want to do something with it on the computer. I'll post again when it's finished.
