However, I've done a little crafting today, and taken some random photos...
This is something I worked on when I was visitng Mama a couple weekends ago. Just another rolled paper project...not quite sure it's finished, but I don't know what else to do with it. The concept (that probably doesn't translate) is that it's going from the moon (bottom left) to the sun (top left). As for the little collection in the corner...I have NO CLUE what that is...I just liked the colors and wanted to clump them.
After sending Jon a picture of this he said they looked like colorful sushi, so my next project in this vein will be to make some rolls that do look more like sushi. ^_^
Here are some close ups (because we know I love micro shots):
Harris and I also went to the park today:
^ This is one of my favorites ^__^
Also I stopped at Michael's to get some supplies for the latest projects I want to attempt: Paper owls (layered pices) and wooden tile pendants. I just need to get the proper bails for the pendants because Michael's doesn't sell aanraku bails.
I LOVE the texture of these papers. They had them in all different colors and I had to resist buying one of each, because--as we know--I hardly ever use what paper I buy. I just LOVE PAPER SO MUCH!
Also I got these sweet pendants...The top opens and the picture can be removed. My plan is to leave one with that sweet transparent face in it, and then make various inserts for the other one (such as pictures of loved ones, paper, etc)
Got these cuties at Target for $0.48 each! I couldn't resist, even though I have no idea when I'll use them. The lines inside are a little bigger than I prefer, but they were so cheap! I believe these are part of Gwen Stefani's little Harajuku girls series...which must not have done well because the folders, binders, pads of paper, notebooks, pencil holders and file folders were all on clearance too.
Cassie: "Why did you take a picture of post-it notes?"
Me: "Because I love them!"
And it's true! I do. I mean, I love all paper, but I love post-it's. They're so awesome and useful! I have them stuck all around my monitor. I wish I had every color....haha. I definitely want more. (If only they weren't so expensive!)
