Visions Poster

SO every year our school has an exhibition for Comm Media student work, and this year, my class exclusively is designing the call for entries poster, so the judges are going to pick one of us. (I'm trying not to be excited because I know it won't be me).

So my main idea was to go for the Art Nouveau feel...and I think I did pretty well. I had grander plans...but well I did this last minute and I still have trouble executing what I see in my head.
Goldstein said that the border seems uncessary, but I'm not getting rid of it because I love it. I'll try out different things this week (maybe...if I have time...) and he said that my body text is boring. I don't think it's too horrible. I mean I don't have much space to work with...but he suggested I curve it somehow. Not really sure how I'm going to be able to do that. But we'll see.

This look familiar? I used one of my Typography posters from last semester. I really liked the design and wanted to try it out. This one is less art centered, but I like typographic posters, I so I like this one too. It could probably use some tweaks, but Goldstein didn't say anything about it, he just asked whose it was....so I'm guessing he doesn't like it. Oh well.

That's basically it for now. I fixed Sarah's business cards (made the font bigger) and I ordered my 250 free ones from work (yay!) so those should look real good when they come in.
