Six page spread

So this was a massive project for me. It took me a while to even start because six pages seemed overwhelming. I was worried about not finding enough text to fill four pages, but I was able to.
I did my project on the artist, Audrey Kawasaki http://www.audrey-kawasaki.com/index.php <---check out her stuff...it's amazing. She draws and paints on wood and it's just...beautiful.
The four middle pages are two page spreads and then the front and back covers are seperate. Some stuff is hard to see in this format because two pages spreads are supposed to be right next to each other. But probably you'll get the idea. I'm pleased with my design (espeically since I was so stuck in the beginning) but I have a feeling my teacher is going to tell me I should have pushed myself more and experimented. That could be true, but I also think that I really just don't fit his aesthetic. We'll see.















On my last project, the magazine spreads, I got a 3.3, which was better than I expected. Still only a B, not not horrible. I have done some experimenting with colors and I might still try to tweak some stuff and resubmit it before the end of the semester. If I don't get to doing that though...well I won't be heartbroken. Hopefully I'll get a 3.3 or higher on this assignment.
