The dragonflies were out in full force! It was a very sunny day, and they were resting on the benches. This guy was very tolerant while I took a bunch of close ups of him. This one is my favorite. They kept landing on Timmy's sweatshirt too and resting there like living brooches. It was great.
This guy did a stunt & comedy show...it was great. This trip was the first time in a long time that I made a point of watching several shows (Timmy and I saw three, plus the first two jousts....we left before the last joust). So he started off juggling torches, and ended with this neat pose.
Then he balanced on his head.
Then he stood on top of two cylinders! I was impressed. That mohawked barbarian guy on the right was someone from the audience that he asked to help him out while he stood on those things.
This was my favorite act of the day...The Washing Well Wenches (or something of the sort). This was the end of their act (after Sprout-the one on the right-spotted Timmy and made it clear that she found him very handsome ^__^) and they had two guys up on stage acting out a love story. This poor man had to be Veronica...the sexy gypsy dancer. Yeah, those grey cicrlces are her boobs ^__^
They made Veronica dance.
Overall it was a great day (and I managed not to buy anything....mostly because the cloak I feel in love with was $325! *craps pants*) even though we weren't dressed up...it was too cold. But on top of the stunt show and these ladies we watched the Mud Show, which was also funny and pretty gross, since the guys ate mud. :]
